A half marathon with a dash of pageantry, Starbucks, and shenanigans. This is the Atlantic City April Fools Half Marathon, in pictures.
Hands on hips, smiles on lips. Miss Demeanor, Miss Chief, Miss Print, Miss Behavin’, Miss Fit, Miss Creant, Miss Placed (not pictured – Miss Ing)
Anne and Bec
Vic and Brooke show off their pageant waves.
“Oh, we have to run? We thought we were here just to look pretty.”
And they’re off!
Selfies were texted.
Who loves running? THIS GIRL.
Blue skies! #blessed
Meanwhile… in Starbucks and Shenanigans news, Bec and Jess (Miss Ing) were chatting.
Mer bringing it back to the old school.
Cam putting the “fool” in April Fools.
Anne finishing strong!
In true Atlantic City fashion, Cam’s crowning was VERY dramatic.
Cam and Jess have an “in person” Chick Chat.
There would be more words with this post, however… wine.
What did YOU do this weekend? Did you win a crown? What would your pageant name be?
This looks like so much fun… Except for all the running! Lol! Happy birthday, Meri! I wasn’t on Facebook to officially say it! (Tell Jay Happy birthday for me, too!)
Thanks so much, Shan! I’ll pass along the well wishes to Jay and hey, there are 7k and 11k races during the spring race (and 5k and 10k races that they hold in the fall too) – when you’re ready, let me know! <3
You people are my favorite. I love you goofballs.
What would your name be, Kyle? Hmmmmmm? We love you too!
Miss Begotten. Because I’m ill-advised. Nearly always.
I’m so jealous of those beautiful blue skies! You gals have too much fun 🙂 My name would be Miss Match because of my lack of fashion savvy and since I usually run with the most obnoxious color combos ever seen.
We were a little worried because when we first got there it was 29 degrees. YIKES! However, it quickly warmed up and was very comfy to run. And YES! MISS MATCH! You need a sash. 🙂
I love you broads for real.
And we love you, Lauren!
We ran the April Fools 11K the day before. Although it was a great run on the boardwalk we feel ACMarathon organizers really “cheapened” things up from last year! Glad you gals had a great time. Your sashes were such a wonderful idea! So cute and how appropriate for AC!
Thank you Meranda! We had a lot of fun together – it was definitely the way to go with this race. 🙂 I agree on things being a bit different than past years but that said, I’ve already registered for next year’s half.
It’s great that the weather looked perfect for the half.
The weather was absolutely perfect. Much appreciated after this winter we’ve had!
What a fun weekend!! Love you girls!
Love you more, Miss Ing!
It looks like you guys had such a good weekend!! Congrats to all of you – wish I could’ve been there 🙂
So much fun! It’s always a good race and it was awesome to be together. 🙂
You ladies are amazous (that’s a combo of amazing and gorgeous, if you were wondering).
It looks like you had a blast, and that’s really all that matters!
Well, you are splendific!!!
Ha! Love it! Love the “Miss” sashes and the tiaras and the fun and the very best ending of all (empty bottle of wine)! Congrats on a fun weekend!!
Thanks so much, April! We had so much fun – before, during and after. Especially with the wine. 😉 xo
Looks like you had a great time! I’m happy the weather was nice for you 🙂
I LOVE your pageant names…very clever/cute!
and running with friends it the best way to run a race!! 🙂

The weather definitely held out for us – thankfully! Was a bit nervous when we arrived and it was a bit windy, especially right near the ocean. But it all worked out for the best! We have to run together again soon.
